Teen & Family Therapy
Adolescence is an exciting transition into the emerging stages of adulthood. It can also be a time of feeling awkward, confused, lonely, self-doubt, anxious, and overwhelmed. This transition often includes an expansion and intensity of emotions and new behaviors that can feel challenging for both parents and teens. As a parent, you may be experiencing a shift in your relationship with your teen as their focus moves increasingly outward towards their peers and social world.
I work with teens, ages 13+, and parents to support this stage of self-discovery and to help navigate the tricky terrain high school. I help teens get to know themselves better, increase their understanding of their feelings and behaviors, navigate social challenges, and build up their toolbox of positive coping skills.
